This is a FANSITE not an official site, so please remember to leave a comment or a kudos when you can!

I tend to update this page only when I have completed a major upload of items to the various parts of the archive, or if I make any changes to the website by adding new Movie/TV pages. This is not a regular activity as it can take a lot of work and time, and I am maintaining this website as an act of love and not as a day job. The software I use for the FICTION ARCHIVE and for the GALLERY (IMAGES) have their own update facilities.

07 Feb	New PAGES: Angel Falls: A Novel Holiday Christmas Crime Story A Christmas Love Story Hooked The Mulligan Saving Angelo Many of these have Gallery and Media Articles added so please check out the links. This brings everything up-to-date according to EC's credits on IMDB.
01 Jan	2022 As you can tell from how long since the last update, it's been a really busy few years for me with even less free time than ever, but that all changes from this year. I am planning to make changes to the website to make it more mobile (small screen) friendly and also planning to remove the old eFiction archives altogether and upload everything onto the AO3 Eric Close Fiction and Art Collection. AO3 is a fan created, fan run fiction archive with no adverts, no sign-up requirement (though that is a benefit). It is fully maintained and can offer far more support and flexibility than my old eFiction archives. I would be pleased to add any new artists to the GALLERY at anytime. Contact me through the Michael Biehn Community on Dreamwidth and I'll get it all set up for you to showcase your Eric Close work. Also, if anyone wants to write a FAN ARTICLE about Eric Close and/or his characters then, again, contact me and subject to approval, I will happily add it to the archive. I do hope you will come and check out the archive regularly for updates - see the UPDATE links above. Please remember to leave a comment or send an email when you see something you like. Authors and Artists thrive on PRAISE!. Without it, they will drift away to other fanbases to find others who do appreciate all their hard work.
07 Jun	JUNE 2020 - SSL UPDATE and INFO I haven't made an update notice here in a while but that doesn't mean the site has been abandoned :) I've continued to add images (mainly artwork) to the Gallery and stories to the AO3 fiction collection. I do plan to go back through EC's body of work and update the credits page accordingly but I haven't had a lot of free time over the past months. The biggest change recently is embracing 'https' by making the website SSL compliant. Links should all resolve from http to https, and you should see the little padlock in the URL bar now.
01 Jan	2020 - January HAPPY NEW DECADE! It's been a really busy year for me...AGAIN... with even less free time than ever so I have not made any changes on this part of the site. I am hoping that will change over this coming year. In the meantime I have been working in the background on the fiction archive and gallery, mostly to clear off all the SPAMMERS. It means I have been forced to remove the COMMENTS and CONTACT features as the only people using them are the spammers. It also meant removing all MEMBERS from both the eFiction archives and the Gallery who had not contributed anything (fiction or legitimate comments/challenges). Over the course of the next few years (or sooner if my plans come to fruition!) I do plan to make changes to the website to make it more mobile (small screen) friendly and meet the new security requirements for https. I'm also planning to remove the old eFiction archives altogether and upload everything onto the AO3 Eric Close Fiction and Art Collection. AO3 is a fan created, fan run fiction archive with no adverts, no sign-up requirement (though that is a benefit). It is fully maintained and can offer far more support and flexibility than my old eFiction archives. Over the next few weeks I'm planning to update this archive with new pages for some of Eric Close's latest works and as I do this I will be adding new images and info to the Gallery. However, I also need to consider restructuring the gallery as I am quickly running out of INODES (markers for individual files, directories, etc) mostly because screen captures can number into the hundreds and I am sharing the webspace with several archives :) So, I guess this means WATCH THIS SPACE! I would be pleased to add any new artists to the GALLERY at anytime. Contact me through the Michael Biehn Community on Dreamwidth and I'll get it all set up for you to showcase your Eric Close work.
